System Technician for 'Symbiosis' — Paraorchestra and The Breath at Bristol Beacon's Lantern Hall on 22 August 2025, part of BBC Proms 2025 and broadcast on BBC Radio 3. A roughly 36-piece Paraorchestra, led by Artistic Director Charles Hazlewood, fused with the folk duo The Breath (Ríoghnach Connolly and Stuart McCallum), with orchestrations by responding composer Oliver Vibrans for an array of rare and unusual instrumentation.

A roughly 36-piece Paraorchestra, led by Artistic Director and conductor Charles Hazlewood, wove together with the earth-elemental vocals of Ríoghnach Connolly and the guitar of Stuart McCallum — the folk duo The Breath — in new orchestrations by responding composer Oliver Vibrans. A genre-melding concert that needed careful system work to balance folk intimacy against full orchestral scale for both the room and the live radio broadcast.
